Forest Frederick Edward Yeo-Thomas is the pseudonym by which the main character in the game goes. As the game stands, it is not clear whether the shady character behind the name has chosen this particular label at random, or whether it will have further bearing on the game.

He often speaks in quotes from literature, especially Shelley. On Twitter, he responds quickly to players' tweets and makes use of Q-Codes.

Short Summary of the Real F.F.E.Y-T:

Forest was born in London - but early in his life he moved to Dieppe, France. He spoke English and French fluently.

Captured by the Russians during the Polish Soviet War; he strangled a guard in order to avoid execution and escape. After this he worked in a stylish French fashion house before becoming an interpreter for the Free French Forces after the fall of France and the evacuation at Dunkirk.

He didn't work this job for very long before being whisked away to work as secret agent; parachuted into occupied France to help the French resistance coordinate attacks against German forces. After returning to Britain he wangled a meeting with the PM managed to convince Churchill to help fund the French resistance.

In 1944 he once again parachuted into occupied France, but was betrayed by one of his men and captured by the Gestapo. Tortured and imprisoned; he organised a revolt amongst the prisoners and briefly escaped. Upon recapture he passed himself off as a French national and was transferred to a prison near Marienburg. Once again he managed to escape and make it back to the Allied forces.

After the war he was a witness at the Nuremberg Trials. He died at the age of 62 in a Paris apartment (on the Rue de Eaux) of a haemorrage. His life was commemorated with a English Heritage blue plaque at his flat in Guildford March 2010.
